This home located in Finland has taken “pretty in pink” to an entirely new level. But what some don’t know is that the crocheted creation symbolizes much more than what meets the eye.
Yarn-bombing artist Olek covered this entire home in crochet for the millions of refugees forced to flee their homes last year. With the help of more than 30 assistants, Olek was able to cover the entire house. The team used over 450 skeins of yarn to add a splash of color during the refugee crisis, saying it’s “a symbol of a bright future filled with hope.”
